Some modules have a large emphasis on skills demonstrations, which need to be specifically evidenced in the completed portfolio.
The methods that are used to evidence a skills demonstration will vary depending on the type of module being taught. Below are some guidelines which should be used when planning, implementing and evidencing skills demonstrations.
Task Sheet:
Creating a task sheet is particularly useful for modules in which learners have to complete a number of tasks in sequence, such as information technology or healthcare modules. Please see the sample task sheet for ideas on how this might be done. Please note, when preparing a task sheet:
Please note: If using a task sheet and certifying that you have witnessed learners completing all the steps, include other evidence of key stages of the skills demonstration (e.g. a crucial intermediate step, or the finished product). That other evidence could take the form of:

If you are grading a skills demo, it is important that the skills demo reflects the appropriate level and the grade achieved.
If a Learner gets 100% in a skills demo it should be because all the completed skills are of an exceptional standard.
