Some skills demonstrations may ask for learners to complete an activity over an extended period of time (e.g., Personal Effectiveness, Level 4). In this case, a learner's log might be a useful way to evidence this extended demonstration, possibly accompanied by photographs where appropriate.

Tutors should ensure that the learner receives a very clear brief and that the brief matches the requirements in the module descriptor.

The learner should sign that they have completed all the elements of the skills demonstrations. The tutor needs to sign and verify that the skills demonstration has been completed.

Where learners are working in a group project, tutors should ensure that it is very clear who did what element of the activity. An individual reflection can be included as part of a group activity.
