The tutor needs to complete an Attendance Register which is available from the Adult Education office each evening before class. The tutor needs to ensure that all the students registered for each module are included in the module Attendance Register. There is a minimum requirement of 80% attendance needed for each student to enable them to submit a portfolio for assessment for each module. Attendance must be taken at every class. Attendance Registers are returned to the Adult Education office at the end of each class.
In instances where attendance is an issue, please notify the Quality Officer at the earliest opportunity so the Centre can offer support where needed.
